Job Role:
 Managing the QS aspects of complex schemes from inception to completion including cost control, planning, forecasting, estimation and agreement of the final account
 On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
 Feasibility studies and early stage cost advice and cost management
 Reporting on the financial position of projects to Clients
 Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent roles
 Procuring and tendering of work to contractors
 Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
 Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
 Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.)
 Risk Analysis Evaluations
 Supervision and guidance of junior staff

 MRICS - non-negotiable
 Employer’s Agent experience - desirable
 Experience in Housing, Leisure and Education sectors of the Construction Industry
 Computer Literate; effective report writing and the ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels
 Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
 Motivate and lead a team; ability to take responsibility and deliver results
 Ability to negotiate and manage Client expectations
